On January 24th 2023, the EU Commission adopted the Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/5. This allows selected companies to market certain new products for an initial period of five years. These include various insects.

We, the Dippegugger, do not use any insect flour, insects or products made from them. The use of these ingredients in our company will not be considered in the future either. All dishes are free of these ingredients, which would also be subject to declaration, among other things.
